Based on new services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and YouTube I stopped watching regular linear TV and sometimes missed good movies on free TV. Therefore I created this service called filmefindenlassen.de a website which searches for the IMDB Top 250 and my favourite movies on German TV.
In regular updates the service searches the German TV guide and lists upcoming broadcasting on the page. It also contains additional information about the movies, which is integrated from themoviedb.org.
Next to the page there is also a twitter, facebook and googleplus integration which lists upcoming events in advance.
This project is a little sandbox for me as well to play around with technology based on the Microsoft stack. I used Microsoft Document DB, ASP.MVC and other Azure Services to create the project.
